About Us
We aim to provide care for our clients that is innovative, resourceful, and compassionate. Learn more about who we are and what drives us.
Our Origin
"Years ago, a catastrophic car accident nearly took my brother's life. His prognosis was bleak. He was not expected to wake from his coma, let alone regain physical and cognitive abilities. Against these odds, with the help of medical professionals including OTs, he worked tirelessly to speak, walk and define a new, meaningful life.
One of the most impactful therapeutic processes for him was group therapy sessions, where he met peers and worked towards his personal goals in a supportive environment. I witnessed the positive impact of these groups first-hand and Together OT strives to provide that impact in London and beyond."
~ Heather Harder, Reg. OT (Ont.)
Our Approach
At Together OT, we believe every individual deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported in ways that honour who they are. Our work is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming approach that recognizes and respects different ways of thinking, learning, moving, and experiencing the world. Rather than trying to “fix” differences, we focus on building strengths, removing barriers, and developing skills that support meaningful participation in everyday life.
Strong, authentic relationships are at the heart of our therapy. We collaborate closely with clients and their families, following the client’s interests and goals while supporting the wider system around them. By working together, we aim to empower individuals to build confidence, independence, and a positive sense of self.
